Roots Running Back veteran Mark E returns with a tribute to the UK's Black Country and an ode to the Industrial Revolution. The images and histories of coal mines, steel mills and iron foundries north and west of Birmingham and south and east of Wolverhampton lay the foundation of the three track EP (including a work break siren). I bought this EP in part because my brother introduced me to the Äkäsha track. The entire thing oozes deep house in the after hours. Beefy bass, smoky vocal cuts - it’s all there in spades. You should buy it. 9mann
